LGNA have been commisioned to supply yard technical support by Vieregio Super Yachts (VSY)  on their 2nd Espen Oeino Designed 62m MY Roma which is scheduled to be at this years Monaco Yacht Show with Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing.

May 2009

VSY commenced steel wortk fabriction on the 72.1m  MY for which LGNA are the project naval architects. LGNA undertook the hull design and naval architecture in 2008 culminating in a tank test prgram at MARIN. With half the vessel being produced in Viareggio and the other in Pisa, sights are set on early next year to bring the two sections of steel work together before starting outfit.

January 2009

The 62m MY Cadyscape II was sea trialed in Italy under the supervision of LGNA. allhought not an LGNA design, we were commisioned to help the yard oversea the seatrials.  Preliminary owner’s trials were conducted over several days and was found to achieve her maximum speed with very low sound and vibration levels experienced from the bridge.  The vessel performed as expected and drew quite a crown as she slipped back into her berth.

LGNA have been commisioned by an Italian shipyard as the naval architects to develop a 101m MY styled by Espen Oeino Design. Further details are confidentail at this stage.

December 2008

LGNA having collaborated with Neorion Yachts in the past has  now been commissioned to developed an new Laurent Giles designed 122m for their prospective new client.

Designed for world cruising with over 35 guest rooms and 8 VIP suites this diesel electric vessel also boasts side docking tender garages to private owners and guest accommodation lifts, 2 large pools and a grand entertainment deck which spanned 2 decks along with a mezzanine bar and easy crew and staff access for the guests enjoyment.

September 2008

LGNA have successfully taken the conversion project of a 120m MY through the tendering process acting as the Owner’s naval architects. This was the culmination of over a year’s work from LGNA. We worked closely with h2 Yacht Design on the GA and oversaw, large scale tank testing program at MARIN in Holland for the hull modifications.
